Arctic Expedition for Climate Action
One hundred leaders of government and business including President Jimmy Carter, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, Meg Whitman (CEO of e-bay), and Larry Page (founder of Google) returned in mid-July from an extraordinary expedition to the Arctic. On their return, they issued a call for action on climate change: The Spirit of Endeavor Statement was the result of a nearly two-year collaboration between CA-CP, Lindblad Expeditions, National Geographic and the Aspen Institute. Lindblad Expeditions on a Journey toward Climate Sustainability
Working with Clean Air-Cool Planet, Lindblad Expeditions has launched a Climate Change Action Plan to reduce its own carbon footprint while encouraging others to "join the conversation" on global warming.
